With a Disney Vacation Account, you can set up an easy and flexible savings plan to fit your budget. The site will help you estimate the cost with helpful tools. Once you have an estimate, you can create your savings plan and start saving for up to 5 years in advance of your vacation date. It makes saving for your vacation simple and convenient.
You can make automatic contributions to your account with a debit card or credit card, and schedule deposits to take place weekly, monthly, or every two weeks. You can make instant deposits at any time, and you can also use a Disney gift card to make contributions to your account. There are no fees to set up and maintain this account, and you are able to obtain a full refund at any time.
The website provides all the tools you need to to track your savings progress, check your balance, and manage your account. You can update your goals by deciding to raise or lower your contribution amount, or by changing your vacation date. It’s easy to manage your account, and make any necessary changes.
Once you are ready to book your vacation, you can use your Disney Vacation Account to book with your Disney Travel Agent, online on Disney’s website, or over the phone with a Disney representative. Adventures by Disney vacations cannot be booked online, so you’ll have to book through your Disney Travel Agent or over the phone.
Disney is giving away $20 Disney gift cards for every $1,000 you spend on qualified vacation purchases with your Disney Vacation Account prior to December 31, 2017, up to $500 per household. (See site for details.)
